Built on Gietron’s Next-Gen Energy Management Platform, Synora gives commercial and industrial solar installations one connected workflow: commission on site with the app, then run entire portfolios from the cloud. It works not only with Gietron products, but also with third-party inverters and BESS.
Synora Cloud: Every Site, One Browser
The Synora Cloud is for managing gateways, sites, and inverter fleets from any browser, from a single commercial rooftop to a portfolio of campus-scale sites. Each deployment lives in an independent account tree: when a gateway connects to the internet, it automatically creates its own site, and statistics update automatically as sites move between accounts.
At the heart of the dashboard is the Synora-4Q-Flow, a four-quadrant energy view that follows every kilowatt as it moves between solar, grid, load, and storage, so you see not only what a site generates, but where each watt goes: exported, self-consumed, stored, or sent to backup load.
- Power control and scheduling: cap generation with PV Power Throttle, hold export at zero or within a fixed band with three-phase support, and blend strategies inside one daily schedule, all executed locally by the gateway for sub-second response. A Power Import and Capacity Limit function keeps BESS retrofit charging within the facility’s electrical-capacity limit.
- Site and device management: topology mapping, flexible site merging and splitting, hot-swap gateway replacement that carries full history, Multi-Gateway Coordination supporting up to 128 inverters within a single site, and module-level visibility for MLPE and rapid-shutdown devices.
- Role-based access for the whole team: customer, O&M provider, and manufacturer cross-group accounts, plus associate accounts so several colleagues or partner companies can co-manage the same assets without sharing a single login.
- An open platform: API and CCI integration channels, Raw Data Forwarding to external HTTP or MQTT endpoints, and native Modbus TCP with SCADA coexistence modes and virtual register maps.
Synora On App: From Commissioning to Monitoring in Your Pocket
The Synora On App is the field companion: a mobile application for solar professionals and system owners. Connected to the same LAN subnet as your gateways, it auto-discovers every device on the network; over Smart Link Bluetooth it reaches any gateway directly, with no internet, no account, and no laptop.
- Commission on site: initialize inverters, configure Modbus IDs and communication parameters, run daisy-chain health checks, and diagnose RS485 wiring issues such as dual-master conflicts and A/B polarity reversal, straight from the phone.
- Monitor everything: Synora-4-flow on mobile with day, month, year, and lifetime views; a unified message center for alarms and notices; an event subscription engine for trigger-action rules; a per-panel MLPE heatmap that spots underperforming panels in seconds; and ready-made sustainability figures for stakeholders.
- Manage firmware at scale: browse a public firmware library by model and module, push upgrades to a single Bluetooth-connected device, or update many devices at once with broadcast batch upgrades, turning a multi-hour site visit into a few minutes.
